6-12th Grade Career Counseling
At FCSC, we offer students opportunities to explore and learn about various career options.
Our credentialed and certified school counselor helps students develop career awareness, explore careers, and move into career preparation and planning in high school.
Career readiness counseling connects the experiences students have in school to their future, enhancing academic motivation and providing meaning and purpose for the work they do in their academic program.
Career counseling is essential for inspiring young adolescents to make informed career decisions, preparing them for higher education, and equipping them for future career pathways, all of which enhance their readiness for academic and career success.
Some minor homework will be required
Students who complete the Career Exploration program will be invited to participate in a spring 2026 Career Day for a fee of $25.
Your student will meet and mingle with a representative from a career interest of theirs.
Students who have participated in Career Day have built professional relationships, gained opportunities to shadow at a job site, and some have even landed an internship!
A minimum of 5 students must enroll to launch Career Day.
